The 5th Annual Wausau Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show and Sale will be held October 7-8-9, 2011 at East Gate Hall in Marathon Park. East Gate Hall is located at 2101 Stewart Ave in Wausau, WI.
This show will feature top experts and vendors from across the Midwest displaying and selling an amazing variety of treasures.
Items featured will include: unique and rare mineral and fossil specimens, award winning jewelry from WI artists, dinosaur fossils, Wisconsin fossils and minerals, cut and raw gemstones, pearls, shells, materials for your own creations, and so much more!
This year Ground View Metal Detectors will be holding an “End of the Year Clearance Sale” with an amazing selection of metal detectors and supplies available for collectors of all ages! Expert Kevin Clark will also have free metal detecting demonstrations daily. This will be a great time to get that gift for the collector in your family!

Directions from the North:
Take US-51 South towards Wausau. Take Exit 192. Turn Left at the bottom of the off ramp. Marathon Park will be on the right hand side of the road after the 2nd set of stop lights. Turn right into the park, and left onto the park’s road. Follow that road down to the white building labeled “East Gate Hall.”
Directions from the South:
Take US-51 North towards Wausau. Take Exit 192. Turn right at the bottom of the off ramp. Marathon Park will be on the right hand side of the road after the 2nd set of stop lights. Turn right into the park, and left onto the park’s road. Follow that road down to the white building labeled “East Gate Hall.”
Directions from the East:
Take WI-29 west towards Wausau. Merge onto US-51 North towards Wausau. Take Exit 192. Turn right at the bottom of the off ramp. Marathon Park will be on the right hand side of the road after the 2nd set of stop lights. Turn right into the park, and left onto the park’s road. Follow that road down to the white building labeled “East Gate Hall.”
Directions from the West:
Take WI-29 East towards Wausau. Take Exit 164, Hwy 52, towards Merrill/US-51 North. Turn right onto Stewart Ave. Follow Stewart Ave until you cross under the US-51 overpass. Marathon Park will be on the right hand side of the road after the 2nd set of stop lights. Turn right into the park, and left onto the park’s road. Follow that road down to the white building labeled “East Gate Hall.”
